Brief Bio
John Kortum’s curiously creative force simply advocates the human “senses in action.” He consults, speaks, and teaches professionally with international clientele on the applications of Integrative Sensory Perception (ISP) in personal development as well as health and healing. He is an autodidact, developer and author of The Kortum Technique, a book about applying natural sensory abilities in the health care delivery system. John has over twenty years of experience facilitating workshops and supporting clients to develop their own perceptual capacities.
More About John Kortum
In 2001, John approached the conventional health care delivery system to evaluate ISP with scientific protocols in place. He showed the medical research team how the body’s codification of health is perceptible to the human eye in a state of integrative coherence. His results were 93% accurate for identifying health imbalances by simply looking at patients. His book, The Kortum Technique: How to Access the Human Body’s Natural Blueprint for Health and Healing, presents the theoretical framework and perceptual design concepts that form the foundation for the Kortum Technique. He explains how he was clinically evaluated and how he taught a member of the medical research team to use the Kortum Technique in her own patient practice. The book is also a personal narrative of his journey and instructional for anyone who wants to direct their awareness into a state of ISP.
In addition to clinical evaluations, John has conducted live demonstrations on camera as well as before audiences in media and conference settings with sustained levels of accuracy. Adapting his perception to medical language, he substantiates a heuristic for medical practitioners to develop this form of structured awareness with their patient practice. While the implications are far reaching in the health care delivery system, anyone can learn to integrate the senses and identify the body’s visual codification of health.
John works one-on-one with clients with his health perception technique. He also teaches health care providers how to identify and integrate the human body’s biological indicators in the health care delivery system. He has worked with Beth Renne’, MSN, ANP-BC since 2003 in Reston, Virginia.

Some More About John Kortum
In 1999, John started his own perceptual investigative company, New Learning Frontier, L.L.C. He consults with clients and other investigative groups to identify, understand, and relate to unusual happenings. He is interested in any phenomena that does fit into our ordinary box of accepted reality and roams the globe, as a “perceptual anthropologist”, in search of sites where, and how, past or forgotten cultures applied natural sensory perception. By learning from the wake of sensory clues, John adds to his experience base and deepens his understanding of natural sensory detection.
